CHRIS P. HOFFMAN Cedar Rapids Chris P. Hoffman, 58, of Honolulu, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, in Honolulu. Memorial services are planned in Cedar Rapids and Honolulu for a future date.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Hoffman; partner/friend, Gail Meyers; son, Dustin (Stephanie) Hoffman; brothers, Jeffrey Hoffman, Mark (Karen) Hoffman, Matt Hoffman and James Hal Hoffman; sister, Lisa (Martin) Willett; and grandchildren, Sophia and Devin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Hoffman; brother, Gary Hoffman; sister, Nancy More; and sister-in-law, Pamela Hoffman.
Chris was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on April 15, 1958, and had resided in Honolulu since 1989. He worked as an accomplished mason, leaving behind many unique structures in southern California and Hawaii.
He enjoyed life, particularly the outdoors, and always made friends wherever he went.
