ELDON STUECK

Eldon Stueck, 84, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at St. Luke's Inpatient Hospice following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 6, at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Atkins with the Rev. Douglas Woltemath officiating. Interment will be held at St. Stephens Cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by the Adolph H. Schueller American Legion Post No. 217 of Atkins and Iowa Military Honors. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephens Lutheran Fellowship Hall in Atkins. A memorial fund has been established for St. Stephens Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Earlene of Atkins; his children, Allen (Connie) Stueck of Atkins, Andrea (Kevin) Nolan of Van Horne and Angela (Mark) Sturtz of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren, Danielle Rouse, Brianna Cannady, Katie McNamara, Brent Stueck, Olivia Nolan, Erin Horst, Jesse Sturtz and Jake Sturtz; and five great-grandchildren, Gabe Rouse, Kamden Rouse, Landon Rouse, Graham Cannady and Nolan McNamara.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lorenz (Hulda) Stueck; and his sister-in-law, Arlene Johnson.
