Winders, Vera J.
Vera J. Winders, 85, of Waukon, formerly of Lehigh, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. at Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon, with Pastor Tom Buresh officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Deb (Craig) Phipps of Waukon; a grandson, Josh Phipps and fiancee Jamie Corwin and daughter Halea of Decorah; a granddaughter, Katie (Brian) Melcher and great-grandson Roland of Waukon; and a sister, Meredith Shupe of Glendale, Ariz.
