Drown, Bradley Davis 'Brad'
Bradley Davis “Brad” Drown, 58, of Marion, formerly of the Wooster and New Philadelphia, Ohio areas, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at his residence. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve, Ohio, with the Rev. Bill Lawson officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Brad was born July 16, 1951, in Wooster, Ohio, to Wendell Davis and Madge (Gilson) Drown. He graduated from Triway High School and went on to attend broadcasting school. He spent many of his young years in the radio broadcasting business and was heard locally over WWST Radio and also in Chicago and Philadelphia. He also played the drums and sang and opened several shows at the American Music Hall in Wheeling, W. Va for country and western stars. He played with many bands in the local area. Brad was presently doing casino entertaining and writing and singing commercial advertisements for television.
Brad will be greatly missed by his aunts, cousins, his many good friends, and two special friends, Barb Zehner and Sherrill Harris, and his long time feline companion.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
