Glen Schweitzer, 100, of Winthrop, Iowa, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop. Burial: Fremont Cemetery, Winthrop. Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fawcett's.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Cowell of Elkader; his son, Leon (Darlene) Schweitzer of Winthrop; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Gilson of Independence and Betty (John) Baker of Winthrop; and one brother, Robert Schweitzer of Joplin, Mo.
