Chris Cannon, 42, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at her home. Private family
service will be at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her mother, Donna Cannon of Cedar Rapids; sister, Anita Cannon of Cedar Rapids; five aunts; and five uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, John J. Cannon; maternal grandparents, John and Irma Van Wey; paternal grandparents, Dean and Catherine Cannon; one aunt; and five uncles.
Chris was born Nov. 24, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of John and Donna (Van Wey) Cannon. She attended College Community Schools.
Chris enjoyed her family and will be greatly missed by them. She loved music and enjoyed animals, especially her pets, as a child. Chris had a dog and a cat.
