Leise, Thursby
Thursby Leise, 90, of Vinton, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, in Vinton. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:30 until 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
Thursby is survived by his wife, Nadine, of Vinton; two stepsons, Daniel (Lorraine) Kenney of Woodburn, Ore., and Richard (Rachel) Waterbury of Vinton; two step daughters, LaNette (Robert) Parker and Melissa Schumacher, both of Vinton; one brother, Fred (Sandy) Leise of McClellanville, S.C.; one sister, Ruth (Bill) Hasney of Waukegan, Ill. nine stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
