Vernon Lloyd Moeller was born on April 15, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and died on Feb. 14, 2015, in Allen, Texas.
He was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred Moeller.
He is survived by his brother and sister, Richard and Marilyn; three daughters, Amanda, Bonni and Charity; their spouses, children and countless friends.
He graduated from Iowa State University and served in the Army for two years. He retired from commercial water treatment more than eight years ago and pursued his passion for designing and building cars.
A generous man, Vernon touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services were held in Amarillo, Texas, on Feb. 16, 2015.
