Diane Kay Hartwig, 61, of Waubeek, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, in Oelwein at the Grandview Health Care Center. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service
in Central City. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday July 2, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: Mount Clark Cemetery in Central City.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Steven, of Marion; four sons, Ray of Center Point, Michael of Cedar Rapids, Steve of Marion and Derek (Andrea) of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Alexis; three brothers, Richard of Anamosa, David (Ronda) of Central City and Rodney (Teresa) of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Cindy (Brent) Kenney of Flowery Branch, Ga., and Lynn (John) Yundt of Vinton, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Diane was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Manchester, the daughter of Richard and Doris (Johnson) Wilson. She married Steven on March 15, 1975. She was a cook for over 25 years in public schools, the Spring House restaurant, and her own catering business.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Diane's memory.
