Cameron Odeen, 24, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at his home. Funeral service: 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday before the service at the funeral home. Burial at a later date.
He is survived by his fiancee, Felicia Hertle; son, Ayden Odeen; father, Daniel Odeen; mother, Nikki (John) Fleming-Rich; grandparents, David Odeen, John and Neta Coonradt and Evelyn Fleming; aunt, Ellen (John) Fisher; Felicia's mother, Loraine (William) Bruns; Felicia's sisters, Brook Bruns and Alexandria Hertle; and best friend, Steven Moser.
Cameron Dean was born to Daniel Odeen and Nikki Fleming-Rich on June 11, 1994. He was a carpenter by trade who enjoyed life outdoors. His greatest joy was including Ayden in everything he could. Hiking, mushrooming, fishing and boating were among his favorite things. Cameron also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, driving RC cars and cooking.
Cameron was preceded in death by his baby sister, Daytona Rich; and grandfather, Dean Fleming.
Memorials are suggested to the family for Ayden's education or Foundation 2.
