Meek, Jeremiah Lee
Jeremiah Lee Meek, 31, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital following an extended illness. A farewell memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Ellis Park. Please bring your own chairs. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Colleen and Craig Strait, of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Bobbi Jo, of Wichita, Kan., and several aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brian Dean Rife.
Jeremiah had many accomplishments, but his greatest one was his caring soul.
He was one of the Great Spirits; angels flying too low to the ground and now he is flying around us all with the other angels. Fly free like and eagle. He will be greatly missed by all.
