Huff, Donna L.
Donna L. Huff, 51, of 3227 Soutter Ave. SE, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, following a short illness. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories beginning at 2 p.m., with funeral services at 3 p.m. The Rev. Sonda Kirsteatter will officiate. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include her mother, Marie; her cousin and very best friend, Susan Shain of Smithfield, Ky.; a half brother, Woody Huff of Louisville, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her loving pets, Izzy and Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Woody Huff; a half brother, Eddie; and all of her grandparents.
Donna was born Nov. 11, 1959, in Louisville, Ky., to Woodrow W. “Woody” and Annetta Marie Huff. She later relocated to Cedar Rapids in 1966 and graduated from Washington High School. Donna went on to become a CNA and worked for Elder Care for 11 years in Louisville before moving back to Iowa in 2002. Donna was a very special daughter and friend.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
