Scott, Alice Ward
Alice Ward Scott, 79, of Iowa City, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, of pancreatic cancer. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at St. Mark's Methodist Church, Iowa City, with burial at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include four children, Marsha Ward (Mike) Brunsvold of Mason City, Susan Ward Brenneman of Iowa City, Steve (Kym) Ward of West Liberty and Leon Scott of Iowa City; two stepsons, Thomas and Noel; her sister, Ellen (Robert) Krouth of Moline, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Chad (Amy) Brunsvold, Chris (Carrie) Brunsvold, Tami (Ed) Saidat, Corey (Adrienne) Brunsvold, Lisa Brenneman, Lindsi Brenneman, Nathan (Jess) Brenneman, Jesse Lasswell and Alesha Frana; and her nine great-grandchildren, Carl, Molly, Eddie, Carmen, Justus, Eden, Vincent, Victor and Simone.
