Kelsey, Rhonda 'Ronnie' Jean
Rhonda “Ronnie” Jean Kelsey, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Feb. 6, 1956, passed away Dec. 9, 2010, in Dothan, Ala., at Southeast Alabama Medical Center due to a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her fiance, Luther “Buddy” Curry of Dothan; sons, Nicholas (Rachelle) Kies of Vinton, Benjamin (Maria) Kies of Waterloo and Eddie (Amanda) Kies of Jesup; mother, Kathryn Kelsey, sister, Rose Kelsey, and brother, Ray (Karen) Kelsey, all of Cedar Rapids; brother, Michael (Kaye) Downing of Casa Grande, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Kane Kelsey of Cedar Rapids; twin sister, Roberta Lynn Kies of Shellsburg; sister, Ramona Dunlap of Hopkinton; and her father, James M. Kelsey of Cedar Rapids.
