Clarence "Clancy" Everett Bilsland, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, at his home. Celebration
of Life will
be held from
4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Clancy was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William and Margaret (Vaughn) Bilsland. He married his second wife, Rose, on Feb. 3, 1984. She passed away Sept. 6, 1992. He later married Mary in 1996.
Clancy was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Tammy (Bryan) Weir of Washington; son, Devin (Jody) Bilsland of Shellsburg; stepsons, Jason (Cathy) Mahan and Shawn (Cindy) Mahan, both of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Danielle, Brandy, Donovan, Gillian, Nichole, Hayley, Brianna, Jaise, Nicole Peterson and Dustin Saari; great-grandson, Logan; seven stepsiblings; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rose; his half brother, William; and stepfather, Jack.
