Regina M. Corkery, 84, of Jesup, Iowa, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, in her home in Jesup.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Gilbertville. Visitation: Wednesday, May 4, at the church in Gilbertville, with a parish rosary beginning at 4 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation continues for an hour before services Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to The Bosco System in Gilbertville, or the Buchanan County division of Cedar Valley Hospice. Online condolences may be posted at www.White-MtHope.com.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Corkery of Jesup; eight sons, Donald (Joanne) Corkery of Brandon, Timothy (Sharon) Corkery of Independence, Gerald (Wanda) Corkery of Marion, Vincent (fiancee Michelle Steils) Corkery of La Porte City, Gregory (Kathy) Corkery of Jesup, Carl (Suzie) Corkery of Jesup, Keith (Bonnie) Corkery of Fairbank and Kurt (Rachelle) Corkery of Gilbertville; four daughters, Rita (Kim) Borrett of Waterloo, Annette (Brett) Bjorheim of Stewartville, Minn., Rose (Tim) Gorton of Marion and Theresa (Matt) Hopkins of Rowley; 38 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons, James and Joseph; one brother, Kenneth Fettkether; and one daughter-in-law, Bobbi Corkery.
