Sandra Myers, 62, of Renwick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at her home. Funeral services were held at Ubben-Lentz Funeral Home in Humboldt, with burial in the Union Cemetery.
Sandra Lynn Myers, the daughter of
William and Edna (Armstrong) Barnett, was born Feb. 11, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Kennedy High School
in 1975. On July 18, 1987, Sandra was united in marriage to Steven Myers Sr. in Cedar Rapids. Sandra worked various jobs over the years, but her most important role was being a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
Sandra loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them.
Left to cherish Sandra's memory are her husband of 29 years, Steven Myers of Renwick; children, William (Carol) Miller of Bode and Michelle (Dustin) Kraft of Renwick; stepchildren, Steven Myers Jr. of North English, Amanda (Robert) Scott of Cedar Rapids and Angela (Chris) Etzel of Marengo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sheila (DeWayne) Janey of Hiawatha, Shirley (Doug) Thompson of Cedar Rapids and Linda (Larry) Duhme of Central City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Miller; parents, Bill and Edna; brother, Steven Barnett; nephew, Matthew Thompson; and a niece, Kelley Mangold.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
