Miller 100 on tap for Friday at Hawkeye Downs

CEDAR RAPIDS - ASA Racing will be showcased Friday night at Hawkeye Downs Speedway during the annual American Speed Association Midwest Tour's Keith Fleck Miller 100. Qualifying begins at 5 p.m. with heats and features beginning about 7.
The event will consist of 100-lap ASA Midwest Tour super late model, a 40-lap ASA Midwest Truck Tour feature, a 35-lap ASA Sportsmen Tour feature and a local hornet class feature.
The field includes three-time defending Miller 100 champ Steve Carlson, Nick Murgic, Chris Wimmer and 17-year-old Ross Kenseth, the son of NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth.
Tickets are $17 for adults ages 18 to 62, $12 for seniors and students and $8 for youths 8 to 11. Children ages 5 and under are free.
