Paintin, Scott Jason
Scott Jason Paintin, 34, formerly of this area, died Nov. 19, 2009, in Niles, Mich., where he had resided. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Oxford Chapel of Gay & Ciha Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his memory.

Scott was born April 13, 1975, in Iowa City. Following graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He had been living in Niles, Mich., working as a security officer at a hospital.
His family includes his parents, Renee Martin and Fred Harroun; grandmothers, Ellen Paintin and Alice Martin; brother, Sam Harroun; sisters, Joslynn Harroun and Kimberly Ash; adopted children, Bradlee, Chelsea and Jennifer Barker; and his wife, Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Paintin and Lavelle Martin; stepfather, Kerry Martin; and uncles, Dan Kalvig and Terry Martin.
