NINA LEONA (GODDARD) VAN MILLIGAN

Nina Leona (Goddard) Van Milligan, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Funeral service:
11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Nina was born Feb. 19, 1929, the daughter of Lonnie and Erma (McClanahan) Goddard, in Lawton, W.Va. She was married to Frances "Van" Van Milligan on April 13, 1948, in Beckley, W.Va. He passed away in 1999. Nina worked in housekeeping for Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids for over 27 years. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three children, Fran (Cal) Van Milligan, Fern Van Milligan and Ken (Gloria) Van Milligan; three grandchildren, Dana, Aaron and Joy; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan, Gage, Rae, Gunner, Penn, Shane, JT and McCoy; sister, Kay Goddard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Charlie and Frankie; parents; and five siblings.
Memorials may be directed to the Hospice of Mercy in memory of Nina.
