Goettel, John D.
John D. Goettel, 90, of Harpers Ferry, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at First Baptist Church in Waukon, with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Goettel of Harpers Ferry; his children, Linda Goettel of Hiawatha, Barb Goettel of Clear Lake, Deb (Steve) Kiley of Harpers Ferry, Jerri (Jeff) Krezine of Wausau, Wis., and Jeff (Elaine) Goettel of Harpers Ferry.
