Fire severely damages Marion mobile home
Two people escaped without injury after a fire that severely damaged a mobile home in Marion early Monday.
Firefighters were called out to the fire at 1701 Jackson Dr., at the Squaw Creek Village Park in Marion, just after midnight. Two people at the home got out without any injuries, but the fire caused severe damage to the back of the home.
The fire started when an ember from a fire pit got too close to the home, fire officials said.
