Wagaman, Richard Lee
Funeral services for Richard Lee Wagaman, 85, of Tipton, who died Saturday, May 4, 2013, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the United Methodist Church, Tipton, with the Rev. Paul Frederiksen officiating and Regan Porter as eulogist. Organist is Sylvia Gould and vocalist will be Carolyn Kuehl Whitehouse. Casket bearers are Ross Wagaman, Riley Wagaman, Matthew Wagaman, Corey Wagaman, Kyle Wagaman, and Marcus Wagaman. Honorary casket bearers are Regan Wagaman, Madison Wagaman, Cael Wagaman, Colton Wagaman, Carly Wagaman, and Callun Wagaman. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton.
Richard was born Oct. 5, 1927, in rural Cedar County, Iowa, the son of Otis Edward and Margaret Mae Hines Wagaman. Richard attended school in Cedar County while growing up. On Feb. 17, 1952, he was united in marriage to Alberta Helen Kuehl at the Wilton Methodist Church. He was a farmer and a fork lift operator for Hon-Prime Mover.
Richard is survived by his wife, Alberta H. Wagaman of Tipton; sons, Rocky (Sara) Wagaman and Sharm (Brenda) Wagaman, both of Moscow; grandchildren, Regan Porter, Ross Wagaman, Riley Wagaman, Matthew Wagaman, Corey Wagaman, Kyle Wagaman, Marcus Wagaman, Madison Wagaman, Cael Wagaman, Colton Wagaman, Carly Wagaman and Callun Wagaman; great-grandchildren, Cameron Wagaman, Griffith Wagaman, Natalie Wagaman, Charlotte Wagaman and Leona Porter; and brother, James (Edie) Wagaman of Lockport, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Cameron Wagaman; and grandson, Andrew Wagaman.
