Bushkofsky, Bradley Lee 'Bubba'

Bradley Lee “Bubba” Bushkofsky, 54, of Elkader, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader.

He was born July 28, 1958, in McGregor, to Robert and Dorothy (Baade) Bushkofsky. Brad graduated from Central Community High School with the class of 1976. Brad was united in marriage to Rachel Ellison Ashline in June 1988. For a time, he built Skyline Harvestors, was assistant grounds keeper at the Elkader Golf and Country Club; and most recently, was employed at Pattison Brothers MRT, CGB as a grain handler.

He loved golfing, hunting and mushroom hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Bushkofsky of Elkader; his mother, Dorothy Bushkofsky of Elkader; stepchildren, Tracey (Larry) Baldwin of Elkport and David (Stephanie) Ingles of Colesburg; five grandchildren, Zachery Ingles, Madelein Baldwin, Austin Smith, Cooper Ingles and Carson Ingles; brothers, James (Vickie) Bushkofsky of Sheffield, Bruce (LaVonne) Bushkofsky of St. Cloud, Minn., Lyle (Karmen) Bushkofsky of Westgate and Roger (Michelle) Bushkofsky of Elkader; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bushkofsky; and grandparents.

Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
