Austin, Jeanetta H.
Jeanetta H. Austin, 71, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Living Center East, Cedar Rapids.
A private memorial service is planned at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Survivors include her children, Wa'il Muhannad of Omaha, Neb., Lee Ann Huff of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lawrence Austin of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Lori Woolery of Phoenix, Ariz., Viola (Earl) Harrison of Cedar Rapids, Violet (Robert) Hobbs of Des Moines, and Ronald Austin of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Austin; and brother, James Austin Jr.
Jeanetta Henrietta Austin was born Feb. 22, 1942, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of James and Lorene Eva (Stewart) Austin. She worked for the Arizona Department of Transportation until she retired. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
