Harten, Judith Lee
Judith Lee Harten, 71, of Marion, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, where family will greet friends from 9 to 11 a.m.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Hodge of Freeport, N.Y., Michael Gandia of Staten Island, N.Y., Donna Heubner of Cedar Rapids and Anthony (Kristin) Gandia of Marion; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Donald (Evelyn) Prokosch of New Windsor, N.Y., Shirley Prokosh of Brooklyn, N.Y., JoAnn Morgan of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Karen (Alan) Pfunk of Pennsylvania.
Judith was born May 4, 1940, in Newburgh, N.Y., the daughter of James Albert and Margaret C. (Flynn) Prokosch. Judith worked security at the JFK Airport, and was a caregiver to many elderly. She attended New Covenant Bible Church.
