An Iowa City man is accused of third-degree sexual abuse after authorities say he allegedly provided alcohol to a minor and committed sex acts on her Sunday morning.
Records indicate that the girl's father called authorities to say that she was at the apartment of Kameron S. Burnett in the 300 block of South Dubuque Street.
Officers located the girl, and Burnett allegedly admitted to providing her with flavored vodka.
The girl, who is four or more years younger than Burnett, was intoxicated, and Burnett allegedly said that he had committed four sex acts on her, authorities said.
Burnett allegedly told police that he knew the girl was a minor.
Burnett was being held at the Johnson County Jail Monday morning, waiting to appear before a judge.
Third-degree sexual abuse is a class C felony. Burnett also faces a charge of supplying alcohol to a person under the legal age.
