Veronica E. Weber, 84, of Delhi, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at St. John's Catholic Church, Delhi. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, with a 3:30 p.m. Scripture service, at the church. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Ceme-tery, Delhi. Arrangements by Clifton Murdoch Funer-al Home & Cremation Service, Earlville.
Veronica was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Hopkinton, Iowa, the daughter of Matthew "George" and Mary "Mayme" (Pins) Leibold. On May 23, 1950, Veronica married John "Bud" Weber in Prairieburg.
Survivors include her 12 children, Norma Weber of Cedar Rapids, Joyce (Jim) Nehl of St. Joseph, Mo., Nancy Weber (Gary Neurohr) of Stockton, Mo., Tom Weber of Prescott, Ariz., Sue Kramer, Paula (John) Hargrafen and John (Chrystal) Weber of Hopkinton, Cathy (Bob) Aldrich of Langworthy, Roger Weber of Irvine, Calif., Jayne (Kenny) Kirschbaum of Garner, Wayne Weber and Margo (Rick) Bojorquez of Delhi; special friend, Gerald Michael of Vinton, 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Marcella White of Dyersville and Katie Harms of Anamosa.
Veronica was preceded in death by her husband, John Weber; parents, George and Mayme Leibold; a grandson, Joshua Weber; brother, LaVerne Leibold; and sister, Margaret White.
