LeGassick, Melani Kay 'Loni'

Melani Kay “Loni” LeGassick, 61, of Manchester, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Survivors include her husband, John of Manchester; six children, Travis (Kendra) Thibadeau of Independence, Brian (Joy) Thibadeau of Scottville, Ill., Jason (Jodi) LeGassick of Manchester, John Jr. (Cody Brockert) of Manchester, Melissa (fiance Jared Heglin) LeGassick of Zion, Ill., and Mitchell (Sarah) LeGassick of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren, with one on the way; parents, Calvin and Garneth Hook of Manchester; father-in-law, Donald LeGassick of Manchester; three sisters, Calleen (David) Adam of Postville, Beatrice (Todd) Wheeler of Arlington and Dawn (Bill) Ross of Manchester; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Bruce) Nieman of Manchester and Janelle (J.R.) Plotz of Delhi.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the United Methodist Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Mike Druhl and the Rev. Paddy Druhl officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home and Crematory in Manchester and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
