Rosely Ahrenholtz Plotz, 80, of Norway, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at the home of her sister in Lewisburg, Tenn. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Elder Jon Childers officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, rural Norway. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Rosely is survived by her sister, Kaye Davis of Lewisburg, Tenn.; nieces, Wendy Davis (Shawn) of Cornersville, Tenn., and Tami (Kenneth) Dooley of Pulaski, Tenn.; and brother-in-law, James Reihmann of High Amana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin, in 1997; and a sister, Judith Carol Moore-Reihmann.
Rosely Bell Ahrenholtz was born March 23, 1935, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Neal Kenneth Ahrenholtz and Dorothy Irene Olson Ahrenholtz. She graduated from Center Point High School with the class of 1953 and married Alvin Richard Plotz on Feb. 15, 1954, in Cedar Rapids. The couple farmed for many years.
Rosely enjoyed spending time with her horses and attending many show events. She also loved to dance.
