Marjorie Ann Plotz, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, in Cedar Rapids. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Craig Steimel celebrating. Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery, Raymond. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Michael's Parish Center, Norway.
Marjorie was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Raymond to Mathias and Grace Monahan Thome.
Survivors include her children, Debby (Mike) Hamed, Cathy Simon, Tom Simon, Dan Simon, Jim (Terri) Simon and Connie (Mike) LeGrand; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Donald Simon and Bernard Plotz; grand-daughter, Nicole LeGrand; sister, Celeste Fagrlind; and brothers, Gene and Irv Thome.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
