Don Tyne deserves our support, not criticism

I am writing in response to recent letters criticizing Don Tyne, head of Linn County Veterans Affairs.
The authors cannot know Don personally or they would be singing a different tune. I have worked with Don in planning and staging five sleep-outs for the homeless fundraisers and know him to be a knowledgeable and dedicated advocate for veterans and their families.
He is one of the most decent and caring individuals I have ever met. He deserves our praise and support, not uninformed criticism.
