Video: North Dakota State receiver steals back the football

Sep. 12, 2016 12:25 pm
You know Iowa's Matt VandeBerg had a sensational touchdown catch for Iowa Saturday night against Iowa State.
North Dakota State, Iowa's opponent Saturday, has a player who can make eye-popping receptions, too. Junior Bison wide receiver R.J. Urzendowski makes a 43-yard reception in his team's 50-44 overtime win over Eastern Washington last Saturday in the Fargodome. The video is linked above the text here.
It looked for a while like an interception of Easton Stick's long pass by EWU's D'londo Tucker. Urzendowski had other ideas.
Urzendowski has four catches in two games, not a lot. But he's averaging 30.3 yards per reception. That's a lot.
North Dakota State's R.J. Urzendowski (left) not only denied Eastern Washington's D'londo Tucker from making an interception, but wrestled the ball away for a 43-yard reception. (From @NDSUfootball on Twitter)
