Goodsell, Suzanne 'Suzy' Shelly
Suzanne “Suzy” Shelly Goodsell, 48, of Elk River, Minn., formerly of Manchester, wife of Daniel Routhe, passed away late Friday evening, July 20, 2012, at her home following a courageous four-year battle with brain and lung cancer. Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at The Crossing Church of Elk River, with Pastor Brian Stevens officiating. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery, Manchester, at 1 p.m. Friday, July 27, with the Rev. Kurt Pasko conducting graveside services. Friends may call at Dare's Funeral Service in Elk River from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and two hours before the service at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Dan of Elk River; her three children, Katlynn, Elisa and Matthew; her stepson, Seth; her sister, Lori (Mrs. Michael) Opat of Bluffton, Iowa; her parents, Ted and Nancy Shelly of Manchester; and her grandmother, Helen Shelly of Manchester.
