Barrow, Neldon 'Buddy/Bud'
Neldon “Buddy/Bud” Barrow, 68, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, Plymouth, Wis.
He was born Jan. 4, 1945, in Paris, Tenn., to the late Elmer and Mary Nell (Stockdale) Barrow. He attended schools in Iowa. Bud married Donna Massey Henifin June 8, 1968, in North Bend, Wash. They later divorced. He was a resident of Washington and Iowa before finally moving to Wisconsin to be near his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his four wonderful children, Scott (Sharon) of Everett, Wash., Brian (Alejandara Lopez) of Weslaco, Texas, Buddy (Tami) of Waldo, Wis. and Andrea (Kevin) Kraklow of Stevens Point, Wis.; and daughter-in-law, Sharon of Caroline, Wis.
He is further survived by his grandchildren, Austin and Kendra Barrow, Caroline, Wis., Shumyla and Zoe Lopez, Weslaco, Texas, Lindsey and Layton Kraklow, Stevens Point, Wis. and Adrian and Myles Barrow, Waldo, Wis.
He has one surviving brother, Michael of Cedar Rapids; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jane Hagberg, Baraboo, Wis., whom he loved like a daughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Thomas and Jimmy Ray.
Bud will always be remembered for his immense love for his grandchildren and time spent with friends and family. He also enjoyed watching Western movies, college football and basketball, auto racing and going to car shows. He also was proud of his large music and movie collections.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, at Suchon Funeral Home, Plymouth, Wis. with lay minister Dale Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the service per Bud's wishes.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Neldon's name.
The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving his family.
