Johnson, Ryan K.
Ryan K. Johnson, 20, of Tiffin, formerly of Oxford Junction, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Tiffin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Burial will be in the Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction, Iowa.
Ryan Kelly Johnson was born Feb. 2, 1992, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Rex and Brenda (Leonard) Johnson. He graduated from Midland High School in 2010 and went on to study criminal justice at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids. Ryan worked as a detailer at Billion Auto in Iowa City and Costco in Coralville.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Rex and Brenda Johnson of Oxford Junction; a sister, Jessica (Chandis) Perry of Cedar Rapids; his girlfriend, Hannah Tedell of Big Rock; his paternal grandmother, Billie Jo Johnson of Davenport; maternal grandparents, Robert and Kathryn Leonard of Solon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dwayne Johnson.
