LORNA ANNA JOHANNA (LORENZ) RIECK

Lorna Anna Johanna (Lorenz) Rieck, 93, of Luzerne, passed away peacefully at the Vinton Lutheran Home on Feb. 17, 2021, after a brief illness.
A celebration of Lorna's life will be held at a later date.
Lorna was born May 10, 1927, in Williamsburg, Iowa, to Arnold and Emma (Huedepohl) Lorenz. She married the love
of her life, Martin (Matt) Rieck, on Oct. 1, 1950. She was a loving farm wife, mother and grandma.
Those left to cherish Lorna's memory are her son, Leland (Sabra) Rieck, Palo; two daughters, Barbara (Steve) Manternach, Watkins and Lori (Kelyn) VonAhsen, Newhall; five grandchildren, Tara (Clark) Grell, Matthew (Bri Brown) Rieck, Jessica (Mitch Walker) Manternach, David (Danielle) Manternach and Kathryn (Nick) Hafner; and two great-grandsons, Peyton Rieck and Easton Manternach.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two daughters, Cheryl Rieck and Lynn Leighton; granddaughter, Debra Manternach; and two brothers, Hilbert Lorenz and Melvin Lorenz.
The family would like to thank the Vinton Lutheran Home for all of their passionate care with Lorna.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Luzerne.
