Vozenilek, Mary Dolores

Mary Dolores Vozenilek, 71, passed away Oct. 27, 2012, at her home in Walker. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Center Point. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home. Burial: Davis Cemetery, rural Walker.

She is survived by her husband, William Vozenilek of Walker; mother, Emny Johnson of Walker; brother, Marvin (Karen) Johnson of Walker; children, Lorene (Tom) Spencer of Vinton, Mark (Jacqueline) Peters of Billings, Mont., and Michael (Melissa) Lindsey of Earlham; stepchildren, William (Lynette) Vozenilek Jr., Chris Vozenilek, and Shelly (Mike) Novak; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Johnson; sister, Linda McArthur; daughter, Deanna Holsinger; and stepdaughter, Tracey Vozenilek.

Dolores, the daughter of Loren and Emny Johnson, was born May 28, 1941, in Walker. She was raised on her family farm. Dolores and her husband, Bill, had their own carpet laying business that they successfully ran for 20 years.

She enjoyed gardening, baking for the Farmers Market, crocheting and had a deep love for her animals.

She will be greatly missed.
