Alvin Lehr, 94, of Lisbon, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at the Anamosa Care Center. Graveside
services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Lisbon Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Gwen's Restaurant.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Ione; sons, Galen (Jan) and Paul (Karen); a brother, Bill (June); seven grand-children; and two great-grandchildren.
Alvin was born May 23, 1921, the son of Milo and Ada Lehr. He was born and raised on the family farm and was proud to be a lifelong fifth-generation farmer.
Alvin will be remembered as a loving husband to Ione.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen, and sister, Helen.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
