Kevin James Oliver, 40, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017. Family and friends will gather from 4 to 7 p.m., with a sharing of memories at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy (Perry) Harris; siblings, Kenny Oliver Jr., Karmen Oliver and Aisha Mitchell; aunt, Janice Bemer; and many other siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Kevin was born July 2, 1977, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Kathy (Bemer) Oliver Sr. He graduated from high school in 1997. Kevin was active as a fighter in Cedar Rapids-area MMA events.
He was preceded in death by his father.
