Katy Marie Ehrman, 95, of Amana, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at Colonial Manor. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Middle Amana Church with Elder Alan Trumpold officiating. Burial will be in South Amana Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials can
be given in Katy's name to the Amana Church or Essence of Life Hospice. Kloster Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Katy is survived by her husband, Harry Ehrman; a daughter, Pamela (William) Daws of West Burlington; a daughter-in-law, Rachel Ehrman of South Amana; five grandchildren, Dustin (Tracy) Ehrman, Molly (Rob) Kephart, Erin (Joel) Schaefer, Rebecca (Mark Allen) Boscaljon and Emily (Ryan) Wright; nine great-grandchildren, Willa and Edgar Kephart, Aliese, Jack and Heidi Schaefer and Madeleine Boscaljon, Ashli, Brandon (Erika) and Colton Spicer; four great-great-grandchildren, Lillie, Kellan, Kaylee and David Spicer; a sister, Ellen May Marz; and a half brother, Richard Leichsenring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russell Ehrman; and a brother, Ernest, in infancy.
