Vera A. Wood, 90, of rural Iowa City, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at her home. Graveside services will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 6, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. There will be a period of visitation one hour before the service at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to Meals on Wheels or Wickerpark Garden Club in Chicago.
