Larry Dean Brown, 52, formerly of Des Moines, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Wyoming, Iowa. He had a long battle with COPD and emphysema. Celebration of Life services: 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Springs of Life Foursquare Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial: 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, Highland Memorial Gardens, Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Brown; children, Joe, James (Katie) and Josh Brown; stepchildren, David and Rachel Matthews; his dad, Steve Brown; brothers, Jeff and Charlie Brown; sisters, Denise Brown and Andrea Baker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Brown; and daughter, Stephanie Brown.
Larry was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on April 5, 1963. He grew up in Des Moines. Larry received his G.E.D. and bachelor's degree. He enjoyed concerts, art, playing pool, fishing and being with friends and family
