Wood, David E.
David E. Wood, 77, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at the Buchanan County Long Term Care Center in Independence, following a short illness. Friends may call from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today at Fawcett Funeral Home, Winthrop, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Military Graveside Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Fremont Township Cemetery, north of Winthrop.
Survivors include his two daughters, Paula (Ron) Colemen of Summitt, N.J., and Kelly (Bill) Birchard of Masonville; his son, Mickey (Bonnie) Wood of Ettrick, Wis.; three grandchildren,: Beth, Lillian and Kate; two stepgrandchildren, Jaclyn and Joshua; two sisters, Leona Clester and Betty Stone; and three brothers, Fred Wood, Max Wood and Robert Wood.
