Lemkau, Auro B.
Auro B. Lemkau, 89, of Tipton, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in the Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, with visitation one hour before service time, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Paul Frederiksen will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine.
Auro is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Louise and Jim Crock of Tipton; four grandchildren, Allen (Donna) Crock of North Aurora, Ill., Gary (Renee) Crock of Tipton, Richard (Angela) Crock of Oxford Junction and Ronald Crock of Lake Mills, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2001; and her infant son, Eric in 1942.
Memorials in her memory will be contributed to Volunteer Services of Cedar County.
