JULIA "JULIE" KATHRYN STEVENS

Julia "Julie" Kathryn Stevens, 73, of Olathe, Kan., formerly of Iowa City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Iowa City, with the Very Rev. Rudolph T. Juarez officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before Mass at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Hospital or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Julie is survived by her two children, Mark Stevens of Decatur, Ill., and Katie (Tom) Boge of Olathe; three grandchildren, Kyle, Kellie and Kohl Boge; two siblings, Karen Nelson of Solon and Vic (Donna) Zender of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews.
