Ferrall, Julia Maggie Kauzlarich
Julia Maggie Kauzlarich Ferrall was born June 24, 1921, in Melcher, Iowa. She became an angel on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa, surrounded by her children after a long wonderful life filled with love.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the United Church of Monticello with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 Thursday at the church. The Rev. Jean Sullivan will officiate at the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
Julia and her husband, Bob owned and operated Ferrall Drug Store in downtown Monticello for 31 years. Julia treasured each and every moment with her children and grandchildren.
She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the United Church of Monticello. She loved to play cards, shop, make crafts, decorate her home for the holidays and read. Julia was active until her death.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, William (Gail) Ferrall, Robert and Soda Ferrall, Karen (John) Barnhizer and Kevin (Laura) Ferrall; her grandchildren, Stacia (Matt) Ritter, Jaime Ferrall, Leslie (Bret) Barnhizer, Natalie Barnhizer, Rachel Ferrall, Joshua Ferrall and Sean Ferrall; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Sylvia Turner and Irma (John) Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
