Max's spirit was released on Nov. 24, 2015, at 2:58 a.m. while traveling in Mississippi at the age of 68.
Retired from local Millwright Union 2158, Max loved to travel, live on the river and tell stories. He lived his life on his terms.
He loved western movies, blues music, riding his Harley and being a free spirit. He had a huge heart and was a loyal friend. He will be missed by many and be forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge at 1820 West Post Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404, on Dec. 11 from 2 to 7 p.m.
The family gives everyone who cares for Max their greatest gratitude.
