Gagle, Frank B.
Frank B. Gagle, 68, of 1055 Brockman Ave., Marion, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church. Pastor Cecil Ballard will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Paula; son, Frank Gagle and wife Pat of Des Moines; daughter, Kimberly Fitzpatrick and husband Tim of California; and daughter, Amy Howard and husband Larry of Lisbon; two sisters, Delores Bitting of Arizona and Jeri Hutchins of Colfax; brother, Richard Gerischer of Missouri; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Patrick Carey and Frank Gagle.
Frank was born Jan. 28, 1942, in Colfax, Iowa. His father died while he was an infant and he was raised by his mother, Ruth Carey, and stepfather, Patrick Carey. He married Paula Simpson on April 28, 1984, in Waterloo. He was a sales representative for McGrath Motors and Bob Mickey Chrysler. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Elks Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
