Jackie Koch, 88, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waterloo, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at her home. Per Jackie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Jackie was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Stanley and Marjorie (Krasen) Jerald. She graduated from Waterloo High School and attended Grinnell College. Jackie was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her son, John (Monica) Tanaka Koch of Iowa City; grandson, David Koch of Iowa City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Judy Hutchins and Jean Card.
